Now in its 28th year, Luzerne summer music camp is musically demanding.  It challenges the very talented.  Yet there is a place for the young person who still needs to discover the joy of music. 

We feel that the joy of music comes not from competing with another person but from experiencing the music itself and becoming aware of the commitment it takes to learn and perform a given work.    Our joy is seeing each young musician develop his or her abilities at their own level and not necessarily in competition with their peers.

The instructional staff is among the finest in the nation.  Instructors are chosen for their performance ability, dedication to teaching, and understanding of young musicians.
