LMC 2017 - How Do I Apply?

Happy 2017 everyone! All of us at Luzerne Music Center are excited to be preparing for camp and reviewing our first round of applicants. Want to spend the summer in beautiful Lake Luzerne but haven't started your application yet? No worries - we'll walk you through the admissions process!

1. Begin Your Online Application

All applicants must complete an online application and pay the non-refundable application fee through Acceptd to be considered for admission. This means that even if you have been a student at LMC in the past, you still have to re-apply. You can begin your application here.

Application Fees

October 1 - January 1: $75

January 1 - March 1: $100

The final deadline for completed applications and auditions is March 1, 2017. When you apply, make sure to use Google Chrome. Acceptd is best viewed and used in that internet browser.

2. Know Your Audition Repertoire

Applicants must audition live (apply before January 1) or submit a video audition. Auditions must be completed before acceptance and financial aid decisions are made.

If recording an audition, make sure to use as high-quality of equipment as possible. upload your high-quality video to your Acceptd application. You may upload multiple videos to Acceptd, so the audition need not be all in one take.

Regardless of how you audition, make sure you've prepared the right repertoire!

3. Apply For Financial Aid

This year, the Financial Aid questionnaire is included in your application to LMC. After completing the background and audition portions of your Acceptd application, you have the option to apply for financial aid.

LMC awards scholarships based on need. Support amounts are determined through review of the following criteria: financial aid request, live or video audition, and order in which the application was received.
